The Administrative Division consists of the Chief of Police, Deputy Chief of Police and two administrative aides.
These officers and staff members conduct the day to day business of the Department and are charged with ensuring the citizens receive the professional policing services they deserve.
A Message From Our Chief
Welcome to the official website of the Denton Police Department. As we continue to explore new and innovative ways to increase our community’s accessibility to our Department and the services that we provide, this new site has been developed with our citizens in mind. My goal is to improve our ability to reach our community using technology to increase the speed, accuracy and availability of police related information.
The Denton Police Department is very proud of partnerships that have been built with its citizens, community organizations, businesses, government leaders and allied police agencies which are vitally essential to fulfilling the Department’s Mission of keeping our community safe.
The Department has 14 sworn officers and two civilian personnel who are dedicated to providing the best police service to our community. I assure you that the officers and staff will remain diligent in their efforts to enforce laws, keep the peace and improve the quality of life for the citizens of Denton.
